Type DKV 4 non-return values are used in single control station system. The non-returns value is fitted between hydraulic cylinder and helm pump, keeping the rudder steady under all conditions. |
|
Type DKV 6 non-return valves are used in dual control station (double helm pumps) systems. In addition to the non-return valve duty, it automatically separates two pumps, while one pump is used the other is kept fixed. |

Two identical cylinders can be connected by means can be connected by means of a parallel tie bar in order to obtain syncronised rudder movement.

It is possible to control two rudders with single cylinder by disconnecting mechanically or by-passing hydraulically. |
